With Hygisun's saliva test, sampling from the nasal and/or pharyngeal cavity, which is often perceived as unpleasant, is no longer mandatory. The qualitative in vitro determination of the new type of coronavirus antigen can be performed using a saliva sample.
The result is visible after only 15–20 minutes, thus enabling a rapid diagnosis.
The test has a sensitivity of 98.19 % and a specificity of 100 %.
