Dreve Acquires Former KIND Earmold Laboratory in Poznań

Unna/Poznań, August 2026 – Effective August 1, 2026, Dreve Otoplastik GmbH has acquired the former KIND earmold laboratory in Poznań, Poland. The acquisition is part of the strategic realignment initiated by Amplifon, the actual owner of KIND.
Going forward, Amplifon will focus consistently on its core business: the distribution of hearing aids and the provision of hearing care services. As part of this strategic focus, a new owner was sought for the earmold laboratory, one with extensive expertise in the development and manufacture of earmolds. With Dreve, an ideal partner has been found, as the company has been one of the leading specialists in this field for decades.
Ensuring continuity at the Poznań site was a key priority for both companies. Therefore, all employees in Poznań have been retained. As a result, the existing expertise, the team's experience, and long-standing customer relationships will be preserved, providing a strong foundation for the continued successful development of the site.
The acquisition strengthens Dreve's presence in Europe and creates additional opportunities for growth. Together with the team in Poznań, the company will continue to advance the development and production of earmolds. Particular emphasis will be placed on modern digital technologies, innovative manufacturing processes, and the highest quality standards.
